Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) is an undergraduate degree course in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences.The students can choose this course after the completion of class 12th (M.P.C/Bi.P.C.) and D.Pharm Course. After the completion of B.Pharm degree, the students can practice as a Registered Pharmacist. Registered Pharmacists can also work in industries, academia and governament. The duration of this course is 4 years and eight semesters. In this course, the students study about the pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, pharmacognosy and pharmaceutical analysis etc. This course provides job opportunities in both the public and private sector.
Master of Pharmacy is a postgraduate Degree course which is awarded in the field of Pharmacy. The duration of course is two years and four semesters. At the end of the each semester, there is an examination of theory and practicals. Students are required to submit thesis at the end of the fourth semester. Master of Pharmacy course provides a candidate with various practical aspects of the instrumental techniques, seminars, assignments, journal club, research methodology, research work and co curricular activities.
